Christmas 2008

At Christmas we were invited to go to No 10 Downing Street and receive two turkeys donated by the British Poultry Association. We were chosen by Gordon and Sarah Brown to receive them against larger charities such as Crisis, which we find amazing as a small charity and was a real honour. We also received a luxury hamper with items from Harrods and Partridges which we distributed as part of our Christmas Hamper Scheme. Needless to say many were overjoyed as they had never received items from there in their lives.

Fun run

On July 6th, three of our volunteers did the British London 10k fun run to raise funds for In-Deep.

In-Deep van

We have now purchased our own van which was one of In-Deep's goals as it has enabled us to be self sufficient.
